Patty Jenkins And Gal Gadot Unite For Cleopatra Biopic

DC’s Wonder Woman actor and director duo Patty Jenkins and Gal Gadot reunite for a Cleopatra biopic.

This is confirmed by The Hollywood Reporter.

The historical drama’s script will be written by Laeta Kalogridis and directed by Patty Jenkins.

Charles Roven of Atlas Entertainment, Gal Gadot, and Jaron Varsano of Pilot Wave Motion Pictures will handle banner producing.

Gal Gadot will play the role of the ancient Egyptian queen a role made famous by Elizabeth Taylor in 1963.

In a tweet regarding the film, Gal Gadot said;

“I love embarking on new journeys, I love the excitement of new projects, the thrill of bringing new stories to life.

“Cleopatra is a story I wanted to tell for a very long time. Can’t be more grateful about this A team.”

Jenkins and Gadot have recently finished working on Wonder Woman 1984.
