Deep Rich Black Coconut Heishi Beads, Strand, from the African Trade - Rita Okrent Collection (AT1545)A nice long 26 inch strand of antique coconut shell heishi trade beads from Rita's collection. Handmade in Africa, early to mid 20th century. Sourced by Rita in the 1980's. Most beads on this strand measure in the 12 14mm range diameter, with a few in the 8 9mm range. African Item 1545
