1980 Aria Pro II Japan TSB-550 Thor Sound Neckthrough Electric Bass (Japan Brown)The Aria Pro II TSB 550 was the single pickup model from one of the best Japanese bass ranges to ever come out of the Matsumoku factory. Favoured by bass legends including Cliff Burton, Jack Bruce and John Taylor, the TSB 550 was a neckthrough build with an ash body, a smooth maple walnut transmit neck (and heel less cutaway) and a rosewood 24 fret fingerboard with diamond inlays. The trem routing was filled by the previous owner with a wood block glued into the route along with a backplate for aesthetic reasons (and to hold the string ball ends secure)

other than that it doesn't seem to have been played much over the years as it has very minimal fretwear and very few signs of cosmetic damage

Frets are reasonably pitted but still bend smoothly

The mini toggle is currently un-wired and the original pickups/electronics aren't included
