1970's Fresher Japan VB Violin Beatle Bass (Brown Sunburst)Made in Japan in the 1970's, this Fresher branded Beatle Bass model aimed at being an affordable replica of the Hofner Violin Bass. Hollow construction with a plain top and back, bolt on maple neck with a rosewood fingerboard (30" scale length, 40mm nut width, 22 frets), it weighs 2. 3kg's. Japanese made bass humbuckers give it that rounded pop that you'd expect from this style of bass, they're controlled by on off switches and independent volume

Masterbuilt with 2 sets of 6 strings (rather than traditional 12-string configuration)

these were mostly on-off custom shop style builds created to showcase the range of SD pickups prior to their agreement with ESP

Has three cosmetic bumps on the top contour as pictured

Solid body with a maple neck and rosewood fingerboard (dot inlays and a 41mm nut width)

Loaded with a really nice BMH-550 bass humbucker
