1976 Aria Pro II ES-700SB Semi Hollowbody (Brown Sunburst)Made by the Matsumoku factory in 1976, the ES 700 was the Aria Pro II version of the Gibson ES 335. Maple top and back with a maple centre block, mahogany sides with a mahogany set neck construction and a bound rosewood fingerboard, weighs 3. 3kg's. Gibson Deluxe tuners installed by the previous owner, it's loaded with the original Matsumoku "T Top" humbuckers and sounds terrific. Looks like it had a different tailpiece on there at some point as

although a Boss employee claimed the change was due to the high rate of faulty RC3403 chips that were being supplied

Made in Japan until 1988

The Boss HM-2 is one of the most divisive Boss pedals ever released and is a cult favourite in the pedal community

Looks to be mostly finish damage and slight shipping

Very very lightly used condition (I believe it was a store display model)

these also feature a Stratocaster style tremolo system that proves to be more stable than the standard Jaguar design

Metallic red finish has faded to a pink-ish tinge

they play smooth with some pitting

but with a standard-ish Stratocaster tremolo system (that has fine tuners)

Loaded with a pair of passive PJ pickups controlled by volume
