USMC MARPAT Woodland CapKnown as the 'utility cover' or 'utility cap' this design was first introduced in World War 2. It came to be associated with the marine raiders through their widespread use of it in combat. Current marines wear the 8 pointed cover creased and peaked to give a solid and sharp appearance. They also wear it very high on the head and peaked far forward, although you can wear it like a standard cap as well. The cap has a stiff but mold able peak complete
