Chateau Citran Vintage 2005About the wine Chteau Citran is a large estate in the commune of Avensan, producing wine under the Haut Medoc appellation. It is one of the older properties in the Medoc, with its history dating back to the 1200s, when it was a fortified stronghold. The Donissan de Citran family ran the estate from that time until 1832. Chteau Citran's current owners, the Merlaut family, took over in 1996. The 2005 vintage was fantastic across Bordeaux. Tasting Note
