1980's Guyatone TO-2 Vintage Tube Overdrive (Made in Japan)Powered by an internal 12ax7 valve, these were a very impressive early attempt at a true amp like overdrive to give your clean amplifier an extra thump with the same characteristics as your clean tone! Concentric knobs with Gain, Level, Treble and Bass. Good condition, works perfectly. Runs on 100v with a USA Japan plug, easily stepped down to run on your local power source.

A small amount of the Fotoflame on the back of the neck was clamped and reglued so it's stable and smooth (common on these models)

We took a long hard look at the competition

The trem routing was filled by the previous owner with a wood block glued into the route along with a backplate for aesthetic reasons (and to hold the string ball ends secure)

The truss works perfectly and the neck is straight with plenty of life left in the frets
