IMPRESSION TAKEN FROM A MACKEREL BLUE AND GOLDThe markings on a mackerel are so distinctive, sadly they don't pick up when you try and print the fish so you have two options. The first (which I did here) is to apply the ink according to the pattern. The second would be to paint on the markings after printing. The fish eye is hand painted after printing

many people don't realise I'm working with an actual lobster and that this artwork is made by pressing the paper against the surface of the actual lobster itself

This print is supplied unframed and is 47cm x 28cm

The print itself measures approx 35cm x 70cm  but with the mount the overall dimensions are 45cm x 79cm
