Edwardian Silver Tea Infuser Hallmarked C E Williams Birmingham 1901An unusual piece of Edwardian Silver this is a tea infuser. It has a lovely fretwork handle and an egg shaped 3 dimensional end that opens on a hinge with a hook clasp. The egg shaped end opens so that tea leaves could be placed inside and infused into the water by using the infuser like a spoon. Hallmarked on the back of the handle with partial hallmarks to the pierced section this is a lovely piece of highly collectable silver from the Edwardian

The join line between the two sections is visible but not split or damaged

the decoration is still sharp and crisp
