Phiodendron verrucosum Ecuadorian Locale - small formThis form originates from Ecuador but is not to be confused with the "mini" form that is also from Ecuador. This one is something different although it also has stayed small for me. The abaxial surface of the leaf begins as an almost blood red color and slowly fades.

Small species from Northern South America that seems to have several different forms
hooded ghosts and are wine color with some yellow markings
Can develop large velvety leaves (see last photo for an example) similar to warocqueanum without the white veins
Produces beautifully spotted leaves with reddish undersides
Newest growth will emerge normal

Great mini species from Peru
All plants offered are rooted cuttings of my mother plants in 4” pots
This is a beautiful species that is perfect for medium to large terrariums (20g and above)
and this species is quite a sight when full-grown
