Winston, RL -- 7'6" 5wt SF-era fiberglass rodFor sale here is a San Francisco era Winston fiberglass rod. 7 1 2 feet for a 5 weight line. Excellent original condition. Medium action rod. Half wells grip (not cleaned), all cork reel seat, bakelite butt cap end and winding check, slide band. Original bag and tube and the tube label is near perfect. Ferrule fit remains okay with a minimal gap remaining. Glenn Brackett or Winston can be enlisted to make a replacement ferrule even though I think this

Not sure how to describe it but the binding is a bit detached at the center of the book as you can see in the photos

The western-style grip is soiled but in otherwise fine shape

I do not find any cracks in the rubber

This reel was a prototype and includes a fixed check system unlike most other model 702s which had the adjustable drag system called the Stag Beetle

The Duronze ferrules are size 14/64 with an excellent fit
