Lot 071 - Antique Mother Of Pearl Holy Water Font With Carved Shell Backdrop And Metal Corpus Of Jesus, 5-1/4" HAntique holy water font constructed from carved mother of pearl shells, with one shell forming a backdrop featuring a carved cross and applied metal corpus of Jesus, and a second shell serving as the basin. Fitted with wall hanger on reverse. Lower shell exhibits chipping and losses along the upper edge. Overall wear and tear consistent with age and handling.
