18th century Yew wood comb back Windsor chairThis is an exceptional late 18th century comb back Windsor chair made from Yew wood. The colour and design makes this hugely attractive. The condition is also very good with no major faults and full height legs which is a rare thing for chairs of this age. This is a fabulous 17th Century Colonial school oil on canvas painting of the Immaculate Virgin

Thick shield topped cabriole front legs and shaped back legs with the most incredible figured top which simply isn't done justice in the photos

The design is particularly unusual which is why I love it

For me the best detail is the depth of carved panelling and the large bun feet
