The stone is in a cloud shape with a beautifully smooth finish. The base is solid oak and has shaped support that fit into the curves of the stone neatly. This is a fabulous piece of African art in the form of an axe

The piece is made from an unusual timber which I believe is Tiger maple

Various restorations to the frame and legs over the years but all inspected and made right by us so solid condition

Generous size and very comfy
