Lot 091 - Vintage Uranium Glass Hotel Dixie, New York Advertising Ashtray With Matchbook Holder, Glows Under Blacklight, Circa 1930Vintage uranium glass advertising ashtray for the Hotel Dixie, New York, featuring an integrated matchbook holder and glowing vividly under ultraviolet light. The Hotel Dixie opened in 1930, developed by Percy and Harry Uris, serving budget travelers in the Times Square district before later becoming the Hotel Carter. The ashtray is in good condition with no discernable chips, showing a few rough areas along mold seams from manufacture. Circa 1930.
