Chateau Bastor-Lamontagne 1983 VintageI've had a soft spot for this Sauternes as it was the first sweet wine from Bordeaux that I tasted and was readily available. 1983 was a good vintage and Bastor Lamontagne made a lovely wine. These bottles are just out of bond where they have been since purchased en primeur. Typical blend, Semillon, Sauvignon Blanc. 73cl Bottle. Abv not stated. Bottle condition, capsule good, label good, wine level base of neck. Tasting Note 12 10 2022 Apricot, orange

Despite the mid-shoulder fill this is very alive and intact
The vineyards for this wine are located in the Dry Creek Valley AVA
so proceeded to drink it right away
